Our Art In Action program leads participants through hands-on art explorations. Focusing on the foundations and techniques of many different visual arts mediums, this skill-building program encourages young artists to push the limits of their imagination in order to enhance their artistic creations. From colours, to mediums, to forms, participants will experience a dynamic program that inspires new and imaginative artistic creations. This program will provide several opportunities for visual arts showcases throughout the year.
Conveniently scheduled Monday to Friday between 4:00pm and 6:30pm, Art In Action can be accessed through our Full Time After School Arts Program!
Art In Action is led by Camila Gaw, who draws from her own arts education in everything from portrait design, to sketching, to sculpting, to collage work, to watercolour and acrylic painting. With such a diverse artistic background and years of designing and facilitating art classes, Camila inspires students with her innovation and creative energy.
