Toddler/Preschool Music Sessionals

For 18 months to kindergarten

Our Toddler and Preschool Music program at The Heart of Riverdale offers a joyful and interactive introduction to music for children aged 18 months to kindergarten. Through playful and engaging classes, young musicians explore rhythm, melody, and movement while developing essential skills like coordination, listening, and self-expression.

For our youngest participants, parent-participation classes create a special bonding experience as children and caregivers sing, clap, and move together in a welcoming, music-filled environment. These classes incorporate songs, instruments, and creative play to nurture a love of music from an early age.

As children grow, they can progress to independent classes where they explore musical concepts through singing, percussion instruments, and movement-based activities. These sessions help develop fundamental skills such as beat recognition, pitch awareness, and group participation, all while fostering creativity and confidence.

Rooted in early childhood education principles and inspired by respected music learning methods, our program provides a strong foundation for future musical exploration.
