CIRCUS CAMP with Claire Ness and the Yukon Circus Society
An action-packed week designed for kids who want to defy gravity, master new skills, and find their inner performer. From the rafters to the floor, we cover it all in a safe, supportive, and high-energy environment.
- Aerial Arts: Silks, Hoop, Static Trapeze.
- Ground Acrobatics, Human Pyramids, Clowning.
- Manipulation & Flow: Juggling, Poi, Spinning Plates, Hula Hoops, etc.
- Balance: Stilts, Rola Bola, Unicycling.
The week isn’t just about practice; it’s about the performance! Campers will collaborate to create a custom circus show, complete with choreography and character work.
On the final day, we invite family and friends to join the audience for a spectacular showcase where our campers get to show off everything they’ve mastered.
No experience? No problem! Whether they are a total beginner or a budding gymnast, our coaches ensure everyone progresses at their own pace while having the time of their lives.

This 5-day Breaking & Hip-Hop camp takes place in the week leading up to Cypherfest and is open to students in Beat Street 2+ and Pre-professionals.
Dancers will train with world-class instructors focusing on battle tactics, cyphers, and creativity. With limited summer programming, this camp offers an especially valuable opportunity for students to stay connected and have a goal to look forward to this summer.

Recommended for dancers with foundational experience in hip hop, breaking, or street styles who are ready to deepen their understanding of battle culture.
- 2+ years of consistent dance training (any street style or foundational movement training)
- Comfortable freestyling for short rounds (30–60 seconds)
- Basic understanding of cyphers, battle structure, and musicality
- Comfortable dancing in front of others
- Willingness to receive feedback and apply corrections
Come learn new tunes, create tunes of your own, play tunes with other fiddlers, and learn fiddle tips and tricks.
While there will be lots of time spent fiddling, there will also be games, chill time and outdoor time incorporated into the day.
Fiddlers attending must have had a minimum of two years of private lessons, and the class will be formulated to suit everyone.
Open to students age 9-15.

Our Musical Theatre Summer Intensive runs July 13–17 and offers a fun, focused week of training in vocal technique, acting, and dance within the musical theatre genre.
We’re excited to welcome guest vocal teacher Elyse Evangelista from Saskatoon, alongside Jennifer Kehoe, a teacher and performer currently training and performing in London, and other experienced local Yukon instructors.
This intensive is open to performers entering Grades 4–8 and is ideal for students looking to build confidence, performance skills, and versatility across disciplines.
