The Heart of Riverdale is offering two specialty camps through the summer that each run for one week.
This summer we are offering:
- Fiddle Camp (for students with min. 2 yrs experience) from Aug 4-8 led by Amelia Slobbogean, for students age 9-14.
- Ballet Intensive (for students who completed a RAD ballet exam in February) from July 7-11 led by four Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certified instructors—two local and two guest teachers.
We’re thrilled to announce we’ll be holding a Specialty Ballet Intensive, taking place July 7th–11th. This is more than just a camp—it’s a transformative training experience designed to elevate your technique, artistry, and confidence.
This camp will be led by four Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certified instructors—two local and two guest teachers. Each instructor brings a unique approach & years of experience. Our guest educators offer fresh perspectives and expert guidance to challenge and inspire, making this an incredible opportunity to refine technique and grow as a dancer.
(Meal plan included for an additional $50.00)
Who Can Attend? This intensive is open to dancers who completed a RAD ballet exam in February and will include training at the following levels:
- Grade 2 Ballet
- Grade 3 Ballet
- Grade 4 Ballet
- Grade 6 Ballet / or possibly Intermediate Foundation
Calling All Young Stars: Broadway Camp is Back! 🌟
Get ready for an unforgettable summer at The Heart of Riverdale!
From July 21 to August 1, your child (ages 9–12) will be immersed in the world of musical theatre — singing show-stopping numbers, learning high-energy choreography, and stepping into iconic Broadway roles alongside an incredible creative team: Cohen Ashick, Ezra Baker, Lillian Eberhard, and Fiona Farr.
This two-week theatre intensive ends with a live variety show in our Black Box Theatre on August 1. It’s the ultimate stage experience for any aspiring performer!
In this week long camp, fiddlers aged 9-14 will have a ton of fun while learning new tunes, creating tunes of their own, playing tunes with other fiddlers, and learning fiddle tips and tricks. While there will be lots of time spent fiddling, there will also be games, chill time and outdoor time incorporated into the day.
Fiddlers attending must have had a minimum of two years of private lessons, and the class will be formulated to suit everyone.
