Summer is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to bring you eight incredible weeks of creativity, movement, and fun at The Heart of Riverdale’s Summer Camps! Designed for kids entering Kindergarten through Grade 6, our arts-based camps give campers the chance to explore dance, music, and visual arts, all while making new friends and having a blast.
Each week has a unique theme, sparking imagination and creativity in exciting new ways. Campers will spend their days learning music through instruments and rhythm, exploring movement through dance, and expressing themselves through hands-on art projects. At the end of each week, they’ll showcase everything they’ve created to family and friends in a special performance in our Blackbox Theatre!
We know how important it is to keep young campers energized! While you’re welcome to pack extra snacks, we’ve got meals covered – each camp includes a nutritious meal plan with two snacks and lunch provided daily.

Required Supplies
- BACKPACK! (to carry snacks or water bottle on outings)
- INDOOR SHOES
- SWEATER/weather appropriate clothing
- WATER BOTTLE
- EXTRA CHANGE OF CLOTHES (This can be left at the heart for the week. These items are mandatory since the chance of getting wet or dirty outside is high!) – SOCKS, SHIRT, PANTS, UNDERWEAR
- Your own sketchbook or reading book for free time (ELECTRONICS ARE NOT PERMITTED)
