Musical Theatre Auditions 2026

The Heart of Riverdale is pleased to announce auditions for our 2026–2027 Musical Theatre Program.

This year-long program provides comprehensive training in acting, singing, and dance, culminating in a full musical production in April 2027. The specific show will be selected after casting to best reflect the strengths of the participants.

Audition Schedule

Participants are required to attend both of the following sessions:

• Theatre & Dance: Wednesday, June 3 | 6:15–7:15 PM
  (No preparation needed for this class, just show up, listen, work hard and participate)
• Singing: Thursday, June 4 | 6:15–7:30 PM (Individual blocks)
  (Participants need to come with a song prepared to sing during their individual time slot)

What to Wear

Please arrive in comfortable, stretchy clothing suitable for movement and clean indoor shoes (jazz shoes preferred). Please note that jeans and hoodies are not permitted.

Important Program Dates

If accepted, a contract is required prior to registration. Please note the following mandatory dates for 2027:

• March 15–19: Intensive Production Week
• March 30 – April 11: Tech, Dress Rehearsals, and Performance Run
